Libraga is rooted in one of Tunisia’s most renowned olive-growing
regions, home to over 23 million olive trees. Our 150-hectare estate,
mainly planted with the emblematic Chemlali variety, benefits from a
semi-arid climate, abundant sunshine, low annual rainfall, and
red-brown soils ideally suited to olive cultivation.
These exceptional natural conditions give our extra virgin olive oils
their distinctive character, with elegant fruitiness, balanced bitterness,
and harmonious pungency. Quality begins in the grove: our olives are
harvested early and milled within six hours to preserve their freshness,
aromatic richness, and nutritional value. The oil is then carefully stored
in stainless-steel tanks under nitrogen at a controlled temperature to
maintain its purity, stability, and sensory excellence.
