The BADE family farm is located in the village of Neviđane on the island of Pašman. We currently cultivate 15 plots of land dominated by indigenous varieties. We have continued to cultivate the olive trees of our ancestors, whose age and significance are priceless, and we are continuously planting new olive trees next to them. The history of olive processing and olive oil production goes back far into history, when our ancestors used a much more laborious method to obtain a drop of oil. After a day of collecting the fruits, they would be transported on a donkey to the tavern (old stone house), immersed in the sea as a preservative, and after enough fruits had been collected, processing would take place in a local mill dating back to the 18th-19th centuries. The importance of the mill was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, which then preserved the mill and declared it a protected cultural asset. After processing, the oil was stored in stone barrels that were located in the taverns. Today, collecting the fruits is much simpler and easier. The collected fruits are processed on the same day, and the processing is carried out according to the highest standards in order to obtain high-quality oil. After processing, the oil is stored in stainless steel or glass containers. We are constantly educating ourselves in all aspects of the process of growing olives and obtaining high-quality oil, all with the aim of achieving the satisfaction of all people who use our oil in their dishes.
