Agios Dimitrios is built on the western slopes of southern Parnonas at an altitude of 350m. Administratively, it belongs to the Municipality of Evrotas, which was founded by the Kallikrates law. The seat of the Municipality is Skala and belongs to the geographical department of Peloponnese. The Agricultural Olive Oil Cooperative of Agios Dimitrios Zarakas was founded in 1970 and is based in Agios Dimitrios Zarakas, Laconia. Its main activity is the production of extra virgin olive oil for olive producers and their support in terms of their production.
