Our olive oil comes from traditional olive groves of amfissis and koroneiki variety. We harvest the fruit in traditional way (by hand – old method) and we press it directly in our Olive Press with cold pressed method. It is special for it’s bright green color and fruity aroma. It’s flavour is described as slightly pungent, juicy and fresh.
Antoniou Olive Press is a traditional family business with a history spanning three generations, dating back to the first olive press in the small village of Glossa. For 130 years, our olive mill has been producing high-quality virgin olive oil from the olive groves of Skopelos Island.
The route begins in 1890 with Georgios I. Antoniou, the great-grandfather, who began the creative journey of the family business. At that time, the process began with the traditional method of crushing olives with millstones and the help of animals. Following tradition, we produce excellent virgin olive oil with rich nutrients, a perfect aroma, and a fruity taste from fresh, healthy olive fruit.
Our olive oil comes from traditional olive groves, from olives of the Amfissa and Koroneiki varieties. The fruit is traditionally harvested and cold-pressed directly in our oil press.
