Azeite De Moura Dop
It is not by chance that the Protected Designation of Origin “Azeite de Moura” is the oldest and most reputed nationally. Extracted from Cordovil de Serpa olives, complemented with Galega, and with a touch of Verdeal Alentejana, produced on the Left Bank of the Guadiana, Moura Olive Oil has personality, which comes from the balance between the strong sensations it offers to those who taste it.
About Producer
Cooperativa Agrícola de Moura e Barrancos was founded in 1954, with the main mission of providing a competitive response to the transformation of the olive productions of its founders into olive oil. Transformation operations began, then, with the purchase of a small press mill. However, the growing adhesion of new cooperators quickly demanded its expansion, achieved through the new acquisition of another mill, already with greater capacity.
