Under the strict organic production practices, Biological Porca De Murça Olive Oil is obtained from centuries-old olive trees, rooted in schist soils, with excellent sun exposure and a unique microclimate, typical of the Demarcated Douro Region, granting it exceptional characteristics.
The Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Growers of Murça, C.R.L. (CAOM), founded in 1956, is located in a region with a long tradition in olive oil production, being part of the Protected Designation of Origin region known as “Azeite de Trás-os-Montes” (Olive Oil of Trás-os-Montes).
Throughout its history, it has been a pioneer in several agricultural practices that have allowed the production of high-quality olive oil, combining production techniques with processing technology, which have resulted in excellent results in the quality of the olive oil obtained.
