Istarska Bjelica monovariety extra virgin olive oil that has pronounced bitterness and spiciness, so the fruitiness is less prevalent, but the smell of grass and aromatic herbs can be felt.
In 1995, the planting of the first olive trees began. After some years of work, this love for the olive tree, respect for the land and dedication to work born fruit and this motivated us to increase the number of olive trees, which now cover an area of 5 hectares.
Opg beakoviĆ is located on the west coast of istria. The location of the farm and the olive groves belong to the municipality of kaštelir-labinci, located 10 km from the city of poreč.
The olive grove consists of autochthonous varieties: istarska bjelica, buža and rošinjola, and introduced varieties: leccino, pendolino and frantoio.
We harvest olives at the beginning of october, which takes place using manual shakers and an olive harvesting machine, and the processing is done with in 24 hours.
We save and storage of oil takes place in stainless steel tanks and in adequate conditions.
In addition to the production of olive oil, it is possible to visit our farm where you can taste and buy our oils.
We offer blended, single-variety and more spicy olive oil with the addition of truffles and hot pepper, lemon and rosemary macerate.
