Green Fruity PDO Aix-en-Provence Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from the “Les Chalets” grove, located on the south-west-facing limestone hillsides of the estate.
This PDO Aix-en-Provence extra virgin olive oil is characterised by fresh vegetal aromas of newly cut grass and tomato leaf, offering a vivid chlorophyll-like expression and a rich, fleshy mouthfeel.
Fresh and elegant on the palate, it finishes with gentle spiciness and refined notes of white pepper, reflecting the authenticity and terroir of Provence.
Château Calissanne is a historic estate spanning 1,200 hectares in Provence, combining vineyards, olive groves, biodiversity, and preserved natural landscapes.
The estate includes 110 hectares of vineyards under the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence and IGP appellations, along with 80 hectares of olive trees producing olive oils under the AOP Provence and AOP Aix-en-Provence designations.
Situated on limestone soils influenced by garrigue vegetation and Mediterranean sea breezes, Château Calissanne brings together history, terroir, and sustainable agriculture to produce exceptional wines and internationally awarded olive oils.
