IONIS Easy Squeeze is a premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil crafted from the renowned Koroneiki olive variety, celebrated for producing oils of exceptional aroma, balance, and nutritional value. Nutria was founded in 1992 in Agios Konstantinos, Fthiotida, Greece.
The main facilities consisted of an olive mill, a small bottling plant, and a silo complex for grain storage. During its first decade of operation, Nutria‘s activity focused mainly on exports.
In 2005, Nutria expanded its production by constructing a modern packaging unit and logistics centre with a total area of 5,000 sq.m. In 2006, construction of the oil refining unit began, with the possibility of refining olive oil, pomace oil, and seed oils, while at the same time, construction of a tank park for the storage of the oils to be standardised or processed began.
In 2009, the company launched the first product lines for the Greek market, as well as a dedicated sales department focused exclusively on domestic activity.
