We produce extra virgin olive oil of high quality. We harvest our olives early, using the traditional harvesting methods, we collect them in ventilated crates and we press them in Kamari – the village’s certified olive press – on the day they are harvested, following all the appropriate modern organic methods for high quality extra virgin olive oil. Our olive oil is packed since 2017 and is distributed in Paros market in 100-ml and 500-ml bottles, with the KAMARANTHO logo. The full process from cultivation to packing is certified organic by the company DHO.
Kamarantho, is a proposal for a model of farming in Paros and, more broadly, the Aegean islands, but equally a living example of the farming practices and methods that should be used on the island and in this country. With our effort we want to demonstrate and prove that a modern, environmentally beneficial, viable agricultural and agro-touristic business is able to exist and be a positive contribution to the change of the established and yet destructive mentalities and practices of the past.
