About Producer
La Madonnuccia farm is nestled in the heart of Umbria, near Assisi. Located on a hill at an altitude of 350 meters (1,148 feet) above sea level, it stretches for about 4.5 hectares (11,12 acres) in the municipality of Castel Ritaldi, in the province of Perugia. The name of the company comes from a plaster statue of the Madonna that stands in a chapel located in the estate that also contains ancient frescoes. It belongs to our family since 1800s, and the first olive trees were planted in 1865. We now have 1,350 plants of Moraiolo, Leccino, Frantoio, Pendolino, Leccio del Corno, and Ravece. We have a plan to plant other 250 olive trees in 2023 and to continue expanding our olive land with a focus on sustainability and the safeguarding of the territory.
