Mairoula’s Selection is a premium extra virgin olive oil produced from the Koroneiki variety. It offers a highly aromatic and fruity profile, with mild bitterness and a smooth, buttery texture. A gentle peppery finish adds a lively sensation, complemented by elegant herbal notes. The olives are harvested early while still green, carefully picked by hand without mechanical means. They are milled and cold-extracted on the same day to preserve freshness, then stored under a nitrogen blanket until bottling to maintain their quality and stability.
The name Mairoula’s Selection is a tribute to Mary, a key member of the family business. “Mairoula” was the affectionate nickname given to her by her father, reflecting both the personal story behind the oil and the passion that drives its creation.
Pillar Grove Estate is a Canadian company based in Alberta, Canada. Our farmland is situated in Northern Greece in the region of Halkidiki on the picturesque shores of the Aegean Sea. We are proud to carry on the tradition which has been passed on to us by many generations of our family.
We continue to cultivate the olive trees by combining century-old methods with modern techniques and industry standards. We produce premium-quality extra virgin olive oil, a gift from Mother Nature. We mostly produce Galani from Halkidiki and Koroneiki varieties. We export and market our olive oils in Canada.
