Organic Koroneiki Extra Virgin Olive Oil was created to honor the generations that came before us and the legacy they entrusted to our family—a journey that began decades ago and continues today with the same unwavering dedication to quality and authenticity.
Produced exclusively from the renowned Koroneiki variety, this certified organic extra virgin olive oil is harvested early, between September 28 and 30, when the olives are at their freshest and richest in valuable compounds.
Cold-extracted and carefully filtered to preserve its purity and sensory elegance, the oil is distinguished by an exceptionally low acidity of below 0.3% and a high total phenolic content of 700 mg/kg, reflecting both outstanding quality and nutritional richness.
Our journey in the world of olive oil began in 1930 when our great-grandfather Dimitris planted the first olive trees and established our family’s first olive mill. Later, our grandfather Nikos Markellos, with the invaluable support of our grandmother Eleni, expanded the olive groves and developed the family business.
The third generation, Dimitris and Panagiotis, brought technological upgrades and a new facility. In 2014, the fourth generation took the lead, and in 2019 we established our own bottling unit and launched our first branded products. And so…our journey continues.
