Green Land Co-Farming, also known as the “Green Land Producers Group,” is a collective of young farmers and food technologists based in Sterna, a semi-mountainous village in the heart of Messinia, Greece. The group specializes in cultivating and marketing high-quality extra virgin olive oil and Kalamata olives, aiming to enhance the quality of life for its members, their families, and the local farming community.
Green Land Co-Farming is AGROCERT-certified with a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) for Kalamata extra virgin olive oil and Kalamata olives.
In addition to its agricultural activities, the company offers agrotourism experiences, allowing visitors to tour the olive groves, learn about cultivation and harvesting techniques, and participate in olive oil tastings.
Over the past 10 years, Green Land Co-Farming has received 16 quality awards, further solidifying its reputation for excellence. Additionally, the company was honored with the prestigious SIAL Innovation Award for its Kalamata Baked Olives, recognizing its commitment to innovation and premium-quality products.
