Our origins paved the way for a “culture of hard work”, “responsibility”, “commitment”, “respect”, “family” and “pride in being Spanish”.
It all began when Jesús, Gregorio and Diego (the Méndez López brothers) moved from Viso del Alcor to Marchena, where they invested and acquired ‘La Finca Cascon’ in the mid-1920s.
At that time, all activity on the estate revolved around the olive grove, where pigs were also part of the family landscape. The work in the fields was done entirely by hand, with the help of horses and mules, and even the labourers lived on the estate itself.
In the early 1970s, Antonio Méndez converted the estate into arable land, where cereals and sunflowers were primarily grown.
