Plomari Platinum Unfiltered olive oil is produced from the dominant local olive varieties, Kolovi and Adramitiani, blended, early-harvested, and cold-pressed. It is a Protected Designation of Origin Lesvos (P.G.I.) olive oil. We carefully select the trees and olives to harvest at the optimal stage of ripeness for the highest antioxidant content and the best organoleptic characteristics. Cold-pressed below 27 °C, this oil retains all its valuable antioxidants, nutrients, and aromas. While the yield is lower compared to matured olives and warm pressing, we prioritise quality over quantity!
The Plomari Platinum brand and concept were created by the Giatrellis-Kakampouras family at Synelixis AB, originating from the island of Lesvos in Greece. The company is focused on the development, production and distribution of a family product. High nutritional and organoleptic value are the main goals of our efforts. Synelixis AB is based in Sweden, but it operates in Lesbos and Sweden.
