Leccino from early harvest shows a surprisingly vibrant and aromatic profile, far more expressive than typical for this variety. The aroma is fresh and green, with notes of artichoke, green almond, wild herbs and unripe apple. On the palate the oil is lively, with clear bitterness and a pleasant, peppery spiciness, giving it a clean and energetic character while still maintaining Leccino’s natural elegance. The finish is fresh, grassy and long-lasting, making this early-harvest Leccino a refined yet characterful extra virgin olive oil.
Kmetija Pr’ Rojci is a family-run organic olive farm in Marezige, founded in 2010. The estate covers 2 hectares with around 400 olive trees of traditional Istrian cultivars, all grown under certified organic management. In the latest harvest, the farm produced about 6 hectolitres of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
