Cooperativa Agrícola de Moura e Barrancos was founded in 1954, with the main mission of providing a competitive response to the transformation of the olive productions of its founders into olive oil. Transformation operations began, then, with the purchase of a small press mill. However, the growing adhesion of new cooperators quickly demanded its expansion, achieved through the new acquisition of another mill, already with greater capacity.
