The Porca de Murça Olive Oil comes from a zone within the Protected Designated Origin (PDO) “Azeite de Trás-os-Montes” is extracted from the fruit of olive trees growing in schist soils under the influence of a microclimate characteristic of the region and ensuring a pure and genuine oil is produced. The exclusive selection of the best olives and the low temperatures of extraction combine to maintain all the original characteristics of the product corresponding to a totally natural olive oil of extraordinary quality and that serves to meet the most varied of gastronomic needs.

Cooperativa Agrícola dos Olivicultores de Murça, CRL (CAOM), founded in 1956 , is located in a region with a high tradition in the production of olive oil, forming part of the region with Protected Designation of Origin with the denomination “Azeite de Trás-os-Montes”. Throughout its history, it has been a pioneer in various agricultural practices that have allowed the production of high quality olive oil, combining production techniques with transformation technology, which have resulted in excellent results in the quality of the olive oil obtained.
